Questions and Answers

All WebSolutionZ Development Projects now include the creation of a Google My Business page for your business.

To create a Google My Business Page for yourself, visit http://www.google.com.au/business. If you already have a Google account for your business, click the Sign in link and skip to the bottom of this page. If you do not have a Google account for your business, click on Get onto Google.

There is an option to Create an account, if required. It is possible to create a new account with a non-Google/Gmail email address, such as This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., by selecting the I prefer to use my current email address option. Currently, it is not simple to create multiple Administrators for a Google Business Page, so we recommend you create a brand-new Google account to use for your business, rather than using an existing Google or Gmail account.

Once you've created your Google account, click on the "Get your page" button.

Choose your business type. Please be aware, this may be difficult to change later so choose carefully. Storefront provides the best local business search engine opportunities but you do need to provide Google with a valid, non PO Box address, so this may not be ideal for businesses that are either on the road, or that work out of the home.

Google will lead you through the steps to create your Page, add descriptions and upload a logo. You may skip any of these steps if you aren't sure what to do, as it can all be done later on.

If you require further assistance with setting up your Page, please send me the URL of your newly created Page and advise the username and password.
