Joomla Australia is a not-for-profit organisation collectively managed by volunteers from Joomla User Groups across Australia. Joomla is a global, non profit, Open Source project working with only volunteers and their contributions. The community in Australia is small but highly experienced.
The new Joomla Australia website was brainstormed, project managed, designed, developed and implemented by a collaborative team consisting of Joomla Australia volunteers in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth over a 4 month period from September 2019 - January 2020. WebSolutionZ provided project management, database migration, site configuration and general administrative assistance. The project was conducted and completed as a fully remote, online project, and was completed and launched on time.
The site includes frontend user management, a Business Directory, a News blog, and full integration with the annual JoomlaDay Australia conference website including sponsor management.
