Skye Children’s Co-Operative is a community-based not-for-profit childcare centre located in Macleod, in Melbourne’s north-east.
Overview: Skye’s previous website was limited in scope and outdated in both design and functionality. With funding secured through Banyule Council’s COVID-19 Local Grants program, the organisation aimed to revitalise its digital presence with a new brand identity and volunteer-managed website.
Project highlights:
- Strategic discovery and consultation to align digital presence with organisational values

- Website redevelopment on a SaaS platform selected for ease of use and low overhead
- Simplified CMS to support ongoing content management by volunteers

- Integration with external booking engine for enrolment enquiries
Outcomes: The new website presents a welcoming, modern identity for the centre and enables Skye to maintain a professional online presence with minimal administrative effort. The platform’s intuitive design supports long-term sustainability by allowing simple onboarding of new volunteers without requiring technical skills.
